Gold wrapped luxury SUV showing a custom color change vehicle wrap

Give Your Vehicle a Different Look

A car wrap can change the color and character of your vehicle without committing to a complete repaint. Fireplace Auto Collision provides professional vehicle wrapping at our East Hampton facility for customers from East Hampton, Southampton and throughout the Hamptons.

Whether you want a complete color change or a smaller exterior accent, the finished result depends on choosing the right material, preparing the vehicle correctly and installing the film carefully around the vehicle's body lines, edges and trim.

Choose the Look You Want

Some customers want a completely different color. Others want to change only the roof, hood, mirrors or another part of the vehicle. We can discuss full wraps, partial wraps and exterior accents based on the vehicle and the result you have in mind.

Wrap materials are available in a range of appearances, including gloss, satin, matte, metallic and specialty finishes. Material availability varies, so the best place to start is with the vehicle and the look you want to create.

The Vehicle's Condition Matters

Vinyl does not hide every problem underneath it. Dents, peeling clear coat, corrosion, damaged paint and poor previous repairs can affect how a wrap looks and adheres. That is why the vehicle should be inspected before installation.

This is where working with an established auto body and refinishing facility matters. Fireplace Auto Collision also performs collision repair and automotive painting and refinishing, so we can identify body or paint conditions that should be addressed before the vehicle is wrapped.

Careful Installation Around Body Lines, Trim & Edges

A vehicle is not a flat surface. Bumpers, mirrors, curves, recessed areas, trim and tight edges all make installation more demanding. Proper preparation and careful application help create a cleaner appearance and reduce problems such as wrinkles, contamination and lifting edges.

Wrap or Repaint?

A wrap is not automatically the right answer for every vehicle. If the existing paint is sound and the goal is to change the appearance, vinyl may be a good option. If the finish is damaged, peeling or already needs substantial bodywork, refinishing may make more sense.

Because we offer both vehicle wrapping and professional auto painting, we can look at the condition of the vehicle and discuss the differences before you decide.
